Veronica Kvassetskaia is recognized as one of Canada’s leading contemporary master portrait artists.

She joins the ranks of those featured in Stanford’s famous Who’s Who for her contribution to promoting portraiture in Canada.

She was the First Place Winner of the 2002 International Portrait Competition in Toronto and is the Founder and Chair of the Portrait Society of Canada (www.portraitsociety.ca).

Her works are held in numerous corporate and private collections, including those of Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and 28th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario David Charles Onley, as well as in the collections of Canon Corporation and Steam Whistle Brewery.

She has been featured in numerous press, television, and radio programs across Canada. In 2005, she directed the documentary The Miracle of the Portrait, and in 2009, she was featured on the Bravo TV series Star Portraits.

For more than 20 years, Veronica has also served as an international juror for the Portrait Society of Canada’s Canadian Portrait Competition.
